Our new HD webcam looks Northwest from Hennessey's Tavern at the Hermosa Beach Pier. Manhattan Beach, the Santa Monica Bay and Malibu are visible in the distance.

This image streams continuously. The frame rate depends on your internet connection and the number of people watching. The image is optimized for quality, which means fewer, longer exposures at night time. It may take a moment before the image appears.

The camera is located outside. The lens gets dirty from the wind, sand and water constantly blowing at it.
